Battery compartment cover doesn't slide off as it should; it must be pried open carefully with a sharp instrument. Other than that it works, so far at least.

I lost the remote to my television. Went to Best Buy and bought a $35 replacement that did not work after trying all the programming options. I bought this one, put batteries, and pointed it at the TV. All buttons work as the original without some pain in the ass programming. Solid purchase.
